Love More Worry Less

Bipolar Sunshine

The Aesthetic Recordings

WE SAY

Another injection of dream-pop serotonin from Manchester's Bipolar Sunshine, aka Adio Marchant, whose blog-bothering Rivers we featured back in May. Now signed to Polydor via his own imprint The Aesthetic Recordings, Marchant's charming knack for shining light into the darkest of corners is draped all over the Drowning Butterflies EP, whose Love More Worry Less was premiered as a Hottest Record by Zane Lowe last week and is available to download now. Consoling like a latter-day Dry Your Eyes (and opening in similarly heartstring-laden fashion), Love More showcases Marchant's gift for synthesis and story-telling, weaving indie, R&B and dance into a garland of colourful and cockle-warming lyricism. With a brace of summer festival appearances under his belt, Bipolar Sunshine supports Bastille in October, Rudimental in February, with a 12-date headline tour in between. Soak up the sunshine.
