We’ve kept close tabs on new British star BETSY for some time, especially after her debut EP Fair was a Top 5 Spotify success on both their UK and US viral charts. This hot track really takes things up to the next level and deserves to make her one of the great breakthrough acts of the year. Over the past weekend, it’s had spot plays across Radio 1, Radio 2 and 6Music and last Friday (August 5), BETSY was the lead artist and cover star for Spotify’s prestigious New Music Friday UK playlist, with none-other than Head Of Content George Ergatoudis tweeting his love for her and the track, swiftly followed by Peter Robinson from Popjustice. It’s since been streamed a quarter-of-a-million times. After supporting Rationale on tour during the spring, her next London gig is at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen on September 13.
