Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground

Beth Rowley (Feat. Duke Special)

Blue Thumb/UCJ

WE SAY

Beth Rowley's forthcoming album 'Little Dream', produced by Steve Power (Blur) and Bacon & Quarmby (Richard Hawley, Finlay Quaye), is a classy debut. Her sophistication is demonstrated here by this brilliant Willie Nelson cover, on which she is helped ably by fellow RotD favourite Duke Special. It's one of many album highlights. Rowley has also contributed two songs to the soundtrack of forthcoming Keira Knightley/ Sienna Miller film 'Edge of Love'. Her next single 'So Sublime' is currently on the B-list at Radio 2. London gig: June 3, Dingwalls NW1
