WE SAY
We don't often make the first three singles from the same artist a featured track, but Ben's Brother have won us over with three brilliant individual tracks and are deserving of the honour. We're addicted to the perfect production throughout the album Beta Male Fairytales, and Jamie Hartman's striking vocal. And as Dan Cairns put it in his 'Breaking Act' feature in the Sunday Times, "(Hartman) knows his way around a beautiful chord progression and an emotive lyric". This has just been added to Radio 2's A-List. The live reproduction is both brilliantly simple and affecting. JF London gig: 5 July, Club Fandango at Borderline W1
