V.I.P

Belot

Submarine Cat Records

WE SAY

Following up on her 2023 singles ‘Get This’ and the RotD-featured ‘Cool Whip’, London’s Belot dropped this heavier slice of her “awkward pop” sound last week. Full of energy and a sound that pulls influences from Dr Dre, 50 Cent and Eminem, ‘V.I.P’ is an upbeat and fun listen about “glitz, glamour, success, redemption. It just had to be. The story of becoming the biggest artist one could be.” After release, the single picked up praise from The Line of Best Fit, Cloud, Pictor Mag and more, alongside DSP support at Spotify with additions to New Music Friday and Peach playlists. Don’t be surprised to hear this get spun on Radio 1, having already caught the attention of Jack Saunders, Clara Amfo and Sian Eleri with previous releases. Fun, energetic and addictive.
