Moment Of Clarity

Beatrice Eli

Razzia

WE SAY

We last featured Swedish songstress Beatrice Eli back in March with her excellent track Girls. We're still staggered that didn't become a huge UK hit and we'll be even more amazed if this fine follow-up doesn't raise her profile even more outside her native country. Released across Scandinavia last week and immediately added to the playlist at Sweden's National P3 radio station, both this and Girls come from her forthcoming debut album Die Another Day (due for release there on October 22). In the UK, the song has already picked up lots of love from music blogs Popjustice and Scandipop with favourable comparisons being made to classic 80's pop tunes like Maneater by Hall & Oates amongst others. Now we just need to convince her to venture to these shores for some live dates soon. That should help enhance her growing core of admirers for nuggets of feel-good joy like this. Keep them coming, girl.
