Beatbullyz

Big Weekend

WE SAY

Much has happened for Swindon outfit Beatbullyz since we last featured them in November '09. They supported Example at the end of last year, and played great gigs at Club NME at Koko, Yoyo and Golddust. Then they bagged a support slot on the N-Dubz tour where they've been going down a storm, helped by their tactic of waiting outside the venues after the end of every gig to meet fans. With Skills they deliver a joyous slice of euphoric, beat-driven pop which is brimful of unpretentious charm and has already received Radio 1 daytime plays from Fearne Cotton, Scott Mills and Huw Stephens. Beatbullyz have been working on their debut album with Jim Eliot of Kish Mauve (Ladyhawke, Kylie Minogue) and Chris Baker of Mint Royale. JF London gigs: April 17, Hammersmith Apollo (w/ N-Dubz) W6 and May 26, Water Rats, WC1
