WE SAY
Fronted by The Murlocs drummer Matt Bleach, Melbourne band Beans delivers a breezy psyche-pop gem in this, their lead single from forthcoming album, ‘Boots N Cats’, out on Friday via Fuzz Club. Written and recorded by Matt at his DIY studio during the pandemic, along with the rest of the album and another album yet to be released, ‘Haunted’ is about the fear of failure and it’s sublime. If rhythmic garage-psyche goodness is for you, we highly recommend you check out the single and album, which bounces between organ-driven garage-rock wig-outs, hazy psych-pop and groovy funk instrumentals. Top stuff.
