The follow-up to 2007's Cease To Begin, Band Of Horses release their third studio album next month. Infinite Arms, their first album on Columbia, boasts a quietly ambitious sound and as always with Band Of Horses, some very fine songs. The producer of their first two albums, Phil Ek adds to the band's own production throughout. They played a sold-out Koko show last night and return to the UK to make their debut at Reading and Leeds festivals, as well as sold-out Roundhouse date and arena supports with Snow Patrol. Compliments heralds the sound of a band taking things to the next level comfortably. JF London gig: June 9, Roundhouse NW1
