I Don't Wanna Hide

Baba Shrimps

Sony Music Switzerland

WE SAY

Signed worldwide by Sony Music Switzerland, Baba Shrimps released their debut album NEON in 2014 and scored enormous domestic success with it. The trio are now London-based and are putting the finishing touches to their latest album with help from producer Dave Kosten, noted for his work with Everything Everything, Bat For Lashes and Marina & The Diamonds. Their sound is anthemic guitar pop with an electronic edge and to our ears seems built for radio airplay and outdoor summer stages. They’ve played in over 200 clubs and festivals, supported bands including Kings Of Leon and Kodaline too, and over the next few days you can catch them perform in London with a gig tonight (March 8) at Nambucca, followed by a lunchtime showcase as part of the ILMC tomorrow (March 9) and an evening show to follow at Camden Assembly. This summer will see them at several major Swiss festivals ahead of the album release later in the year. What we’ve heard of their music so far, especially this great song, points the way to potential international breakout success. With management, publishing, and live representation for the band all up for grabs right now, you really need to see and hear them.
