AWOLNATION
WE SAY
This great electro-rock track from Californian surfer Aaron Bruno aka AWOLNATION is an instantly gripping debut. After its release as part of EP - Back From Earth - in summer 2010, it found radio support at one station in Texas. This has exploded to become a top five smash across alt-rock stations in the US, and a No. 1 across alt-rock stations in Canada. Impressive live, Aaron recently performed on Jimmy Kimmel's show and this track is being used as the soundtrack for a new series of House for the next five weeks. Debut album Megalithic Symphony made No. 1 Billboard Heatseekers, No. 1 New Artist and No. 1 New Alternative artist. People are getting excited over here too, with support coming from Xfm, Kerrang FM, on top of Zane Lowe and Fearne Cotton at Radio 1. A UK headline debut show at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen sold out and this week's headline show at XOYO is one not to miss. Video.
London Gig: September 14, XOYO EC2
