Following their massive viral hit of 2020 (over 50m streams) and RotD featured track F2020, Nashville group Avenue Beat are back with their first track of 2021. Released last Friday (15 Jan) and featuring across editorial playlists at Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer UK, WOMAN has quickly made an impression with streaming tastemakers. Further support has come from W!zard Radio, The Sun, The List and numerous pop blogs, plus a featured interview with BBC Arts. Written by band member Savana Santos (who also created the artwork and lyric video), the track is a gloriously woozy pop offering with an infectious guitar motif, a slick groove and some lush harmonies. Determined to spread some positivity in 2021, Avenue Beat have delivered another slinky pop gem that is not only empowering but also insanely catchy. Just magnificent.
