We were hugely impressed by this free download from Autoheart. Apart from the strong production from Danton Supple (Coldplay's XY), the songwriting is of an excellent standard with lead singer Jody providing an outstanding vocal. The band's other commercial release to date was The Sailor Song, which featured on a Radcliffe & Maconie 6Music show, voted as one of the sessions of the year. It was also 'Record of the Week' on Shaun Keaveny's 6Music show, The Guardian labelled the track "heaven" and Radio 2's Bob Harris declared the band as one of his favourite emerging talents. Furthermore, “The Sailor Song” was chosen by Greenpeace, Oxfam and WaterAid as the music for 2009’s Glastonbury Festival awareness video.
