We are always amazed at the sense of wonder and magic captured within each new release by Norwegian alt-pop star AURORA. Her new single, Forgotten Love, released today continues this feeling as its delicate piano and harp introduction builds into a big, bold and intoxicating number. With a sound perfect for radio stations across the globe we expect it to start receiving spins soon, whilst streaming services have already added the track to their new release programming, including 25 Spotify New Music Friday playlists additions, Apple’s Best of the Week, and Deezer’s Brand New. Her previous single, Queendom amassed over 1.1m streams in its first week and globally, her songs have now been streamed over 500m times. Previous tastemaker support has come from the likes of Beats 1 (Zane Lowe), Radio 1 (Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart), Clash, i-D magazine, the Line of Best Fit and many more. Currently finishing a busy summer schedule on the road that included a headline slot at London’s Bushstock festival and appearances at Coachella, the Bergen-based artist will return to London for a headline show at The Forum on 11 October.
