Ireland is one of our favourite music markets - they love real music and it's small enough to break without major backing, as long as the music is great (eg. David Gray and Damien Rice). Aslan have had major backing in the past but don't need it any longer, and they've had five #1 albums there. Crazy World was one of their biggest and best hits, reaching #4 in Ireland and becoming Hot Press's single of 1993. Now they've enlisted Mike Hedges to make this new version for UK release. They're playing London's Carling Academy Islington (the former new Marquee) on October 8.
