This cinematic and alluring dose of expansive pop is the new single from US singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Asher Monroe. Having worked with Ryan Tedder, Akon and Sean Kingston on his early solo releases, Asher has been hard at work during the last eighteen months creating new music. Offering a glimpse into his upcoming fourth studio album Windows of Time created with Walter Afanasieff (Mariah Carey, Luther Vandross & Barbra Streisand), Midnight Masquerade sees Asher embarking on a grandiose style of pop. Powerful string sections combine with layers of rich and dramatic instrumentation to beautifully showcase Asher’s soaring vocals. While lyrically, he delivers a sincere portrayal of the corruption of power and narcissism we see throughout the world. It’s a highly charged and emotive offering that sees Asher stepping away from the safety of pop to offer something grander.
