Hard To Love Somebody
Arlissa vs Nas
WE SAY
This half German half American starlet in the making becomes only the second UK artist to feature with hip-hop giant Nas and in doing so is causing a massive stir with this radio ready debut. Press and radio has exploded seemingly overnight, with The Guardian going as far as saying Arlissa (pronounced Ar-leesa) is “set to become the sound of 2013…a star is born”. They join plaudits from NME Radar, SBTV, Fact, Wonderland, The Sun, The Independent 'Face To Watch', and The Beat. Still six weeks upfront, Hard To Love Somebody has already had a host of spot plays from Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens and Fearne Cotton on Radio 1, extensive 1Xtra support and it has just picked up an early playlist at Kiss this week. The 19-year-old debutant played her first live show last week at Gold Dust, followed by a second at Notting Hill Arts Club last Friday. Arlissa's first solo single is set for a February release.
