WE SAY
We have been keeping tabs on London trio, Arctic Lake, since being blown away by their stunningly beautiful and immersive 2016 release Heal Me. Arctic Lake comprise of Emma Foster, Andy Richmond and Paul Holliman. Further is the first offering from their forthcoming debut EP. Powered by a delicate piano melody and Emma’s evocative vocals, the song effortlessly glides over minimalist tones that echo the intoxicating sound of London Grammar and the emotional tenderness of Bon Iver. Previous singles have seen them rack up nearly 10 million streams on Spotify, tastemaker support from DIY Mag, Breaking More Waves and BBC Introducing, which led to a coveted Radio 1 playlist spot for their debut single Limits. Destined for inclusion in many relaxed and chilled mood playlists this is a song to soundtrack late August summer evenings and beyond.
