The Payback

Archeo

unsigned/Music Mantra

WE SAY

Archeo returns with another three minute masterpiece that follows early indications that the 21-year-old is chart bound.  Produced by Mr. Waltmann (Madonna, No Doubt, Katy Perry, Janet Jackson), The Payback is making a big splash this week with a homepage feature running with Vevo, support from Music Week on Thursday, and a feature on MTV online, all of which follows Popjustice Big Song. He's clearly an outstanding songwriting talent; between this and the relentless RotD featured Glass Half Empty he's deserving of the tastemaker attention he's currently receiving. Indications are that this single is heading towards the club charts, and with Archeo also co producing and writing with MNEK (Rudimental, The Saturdays), Fred Cox (Wretch 32) and The White N3rd (Loick Essien) his work in progress debut album should be carefully watched by potential labels. The video was shot in LA and goes to playlist meetings this week. Video.
