Anna Of The North

Different Recordings

WE SAY

Anna Lotterud and Brady Daniell-Smith are the Norwegian-Kiwi duo Anna Of The North and this glorious slice of pop perfection is the second single from their much-anticipated debut album Lovers, which arrives at the start of September and has been mixed by Luke Smith, noted for his work with Foals and Depeche Mode. In the three years since they began making music and songwriting as a way of exorcising the respective heartache and demons they'd both experienced in love and life, they first got noticed with debut single Sway, and have managed to stack up more 65 million streams of their songs, topped Hype Machine’s charts multiple times and had their music on rotation at Radio 1, Beats 1 and Triple J. Anna also currently features as vocalist on the brand new Tyler, The Creator single 911 / Mr. Lonely alongside Frank Ocean, which was released last Friday (June 30). As well as UK summer shows at Blissfields and Bestival, they're performing on September 26 in London at Omeara. Cool, crisp, clean, this is instantly engaging glacial electro-pop but with real warmth and heart throughout.
