Whatever Happened to Christmas?
Andy Kim feat. Ron Sexsmith
(unsigned/!ceworks/Warner Canada)
WE SAY
This is Last Christmas (the lyric) meets Little Drummer Boy (the surprising pairing of duet partners), and dare we even mention Fairytale Of New York as this too is a credible, sincere, quality Christmas record. It's also great to hear Ron Sexsmith's voice on such a strong song, which he wrote with Andy Kim (Baby I Love You and Rock Me Gently). Ron is signed to Warner in Canada and they loved the song so much that they're working with Andy's label !ceworks on this in Canada, but it's available to license for the rest of the world.
