Light The Night
Andy Burrows & Ilan Eshkeri
WE SAY
Bringing back some traditional Christmas spirit this year is composer Ilan Eshkeri and former Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows' Light The Night. The soundtrack complimenting Channel 4’s winter highlight, The Snowman and The Snowdog, was recorded at Abbey Road Studios by the 60-strong London Metropolitan Orchestra and features musical collaborators including Edith Bowman, Tom Odell and drummer Dom Howard (Muse). The mountain of UK press has been snowballing since day one with the track premiering on Dermot O'Leary's Radio 2 show, an appearance on BBC 1 Breakfast booked in for December 21, a Radio Times cover (current) and features in The Independent and The Times. The Stefan Parker-directed video has seen its digital debut via The Sun online this week. Double A-side single Hometown has reached an impressive 130K+ views on YouTube and has received A List status on Radio 2, Burrows' accompanying album Company is available now.
