I Said Hi

Amy Shark

RCA

WE SAY

With over 69m combined Spotify plays and the winner of two ARIA Awards last year for Best Pop Release and Breakthrough Artist, Australia’s Gold Coast singer-songwriter Amy Shark is an artist with a glorious knack for writing emotive indie-rock pop. I Said Hi perfectly encompasses this with its soaring hooks over an acoustic, rocky guitar melody and melancholic vibes. She’s already a big star in her native Oz where her breakthrough hit single Adore went 3x Platinum, reached No. 2 on Triple J’s Hottest 100 in 2016, and has so far amassed over 37m Spotify plays. With a sound ripe for both genre and contextual playlists it’s no surprise that she's enjoying support from streaming services with inclusions on Spotify playlists like New Music Friday, Rock This and Easy, as well as being chosen for Apple Music's ‘Up Next’ artist feature. Amy has found support on UK radio with Jo Whiley's Next Favourite Thing, two Record of the Week features on Radio 2, Radio 1 Best New Pop spin and playlist spots on Virgin Radio. Over the last year, she has grown her international following with performances on the Late Late Show With James Corden and the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, a US tour and a sold-out headline tour of the UK. This is an artist on the cusp of global stardom and with her debut album, Love Monster dropping next month, it would be silly to bet against her. Just magnificent.
