WE SAY
Danish six piece Alphabeat release Fascination as their first single proper next month, and what a pop gem it is. We hear strong echoes from Kenny Loggins' Footloose and David Bowie's Modern Love, but those influences make it all the more irresistible. A UK club tour behind them, a nationwide tour supporting Palladium is lined up for next month. A brilliant Frankmusik remix, to be released digitally, (which was a Popjustice Song Of The Day this week) is part of a strong package which also includes a Bimbo Jones remix. The track is already on the Galaxy C list. JF London gig: 22 January, Dublin Castle NW1
