Fantastic Six

Alphabeat

Charisma

WE SAY

Alphabeat are a Danish six-piece whose first UK release comes out later this month. Fantastic Six is about as infectious and joyful as pop gets; right from the off it had us gripped. The next single, from their platinum-at-home self-titled album Fascination (it's on their MySpace) is another gem. They are now based in London after signing to EMI/Charisma in the summer and last month played Fabric, In The City and Club Fandango. The band is now set to play some dates with Mika (with whom they share management) before heading on a UK tour. Popjustice has been an early and ardent supporter of Alphabeat. JF London gig: November 7: Water Rats, WC1 (stage time: 21:00)
