26 year-old New York-based Alice Smith has a soulful but commercial edge that we’d favourably compare to Joss Stone and Corinne Bailey Rae. The Fader magazine in the US compared her to a latter day Anita Baker. For America, she’s signed to BBE records, who will release her debut album, For Lovers, Dreamers & Me, next month. Currently the subject of pointed interest for records and publishing in the US, the album is available for licensing outside of North America.
