Italian-born, London-based artist Alice Pisano is back with her first music of 2022 in this buoyant pop ode about her experiences with dating apps. Her previous releases, including several RotD tracks, have amassed over 5m combined streams and tastemaker support from Spotify (14 NMF), Clash, Wonderland and Earmilk, to name just a few. Written and produced alongside Jez Ashurst (Little Mix, Maisie Peters, Tom Grennan), Boys Like You sees Alice combine dreamy pop beats with bright synths and infectious rhythms for a vibrant pop number that shows a Swift-ian flair for making her personal anecdotes feel like a shared experience. Taken from her forthcoming EP, Shattered but still cool, the track featured on nine Spotify playlists, including six NMF (UK, It, Sw, No, Po, Fi) and is deserving of additions to more new pop and upbeat editorial playlists. Plus, Earmilk praised the track yesterday. Earlier this year, Alice performed at the Great Escape festival, having been named as one of the First Fifty, and is currently looking to put together some London and other UK shows for later this year.
