Let us introduce you to 26 year old Dublin-based singer-songwriter and musician Alice Kiernan. The Meath native began to sing and play the guitar at twelve before gigging and performing in venues around Dublin and nationwide at sixteen. Having gained confidence in her songwriting ability through her shows and original material posted online, Alice self-released the singles, Running Now and Blue. Both caught the attention of Irish tastemakers, including Hot Press, Joe, TodayFM, Spin 1038 and more. Now she is back with this pop gem, her first release of 2022. Co-produced with Alex O’Keefe (Erica Cody, Bobbi Arlo), Golden is a slick pop offering driven by delicate guitar melodies, soft synths and Alice’s sweet vocals. With echoes of Lorde, Griff and Carly Rae Jepsen, the track is perfect for new pop and positive playlists at DSPs, plus spins Radio 1, 2 and regional stations.
