Alfie Arcuri is an Australian pop vocalist who first found fame as the winner of Australia’s 2016 The Voice. Having released his debut single If They Only Knew (over 3m combined streams) shortly after the win, he took two years off to write his own music and find his true voice and sound. He returned at the start of this year as a finalist in Eurovision – Australia Decides with his self penned song To Myself and is now back with this edgy pop number. Inspired by his own experiences of love, Same is an infectious and polished pop track in the same vein as Sam Smith, Troye Sivan and Nick Jonas. The track has already picked up traction by being a finalist in the 2018 Vanda and Young songwriting competition alongside Amy Shark and Cxloe, as well as featuring in Spotify Australia’s New Music Friday and New Pop Sounds editorial playlists. With an EP in the wings to come out later this year, he is a key artist to watch out for.
