Don't Stop Looking
Alex Roots
WE SAY
A fine shot of punk pop that is both catchy and convincing, this is the first single proper from Alex Roots' forthcoming album Adrenaline Rush, which the 16 year-old South Londoner co-wrote with Ryan Laubscher. The press comparisons have run from Lene Lovich and Cyndi Lauper right through to Avril Lavigne - it's all in there on tracks like this. Media coverage has come from a broad range of titles: from NME to Attitude and TOTP. She was the opening act for McFly on their arena tour and Sugababes' recent shows. Headline shows are lined up for later this month. JF. London gig: August 11, Barfly NW1
