Nightwatcher (Show Me)
Alan Braxe ft. Fallon & Killa Kela
WE SAY
French producer Alan Braxe (who as part of Stardust scored a big chart hit in 1998 with 'Music Sounds Better With You') had an instrumental version of this track featured on a Kitsuné compilation earlier this year. Quick tastemaker DJ support led to plays from Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Eddy Temple-Morris among others. Trevor Nelson & Mistajam on 1Xtra have alslo been supporting the single. Fallon, the female vocalist (who has a Braxe-produced album due out later this year), adds a crossover element as does Killa Kela's work. It's definitely not a track you can pigeonhole as it swerves between genres - and it's all the more exciting and innovative for that. A joint venture deal has been signed with Island imprint 4th & Broadway for this single. JF
