You really must check out Dublin musician Ailbhe Reddy at The Great Escape this week. Previously featured at the end of last year when the incredible Distrust absolutely floored us, her small body of work on Spotify has reached nearly two million total plays (with almost a million for that song alone), thanks to playlist inclusion in New Music Friday UK, Deep Dark Indie and Femme Fatale. This fresh new song from her forthcoming EP Attach To Memory has already had support as John Kennedy's Hot One on his X-Posure show on Radio X. Glowing reviews and big love continues to flow Ailbhe’s way from tastemakers including The Line Of Best Fit, Wonderland, A.B.M.Y?, Nialller9 and more. There've been live shows in Dublin, Toronto and London, with Irish festivals lined-up, along with gigs in Berlin, Paris and Latitude and Cambridge Folk Festival to come, but first she plays two shows at TGE in Brighton beginning Thursday lunchtime (May 18) at Bleach, and another on Friday afternoon (May 19) at The Prince Albert. This upbeat summery-sounding gem simply confirms our faith in her 100%.
