Embrace
Agoria
WE SAY
French producer and composer Agoria, aka Sebastien Devaud, shapes a rather beautiful and captivating dose of stirring electronica in his return single Embrace. Deep, stripped-back melodies offer a lush and immersive soundscape for the haunting vocals of Phoebe Killdeer to guide us in this alluring number. On Monday (12 November), he dropped the powerful and emotive video to Embrace filmed by Cannes award-winning director Jessy Moussallem (of Mashrou' Leila - Roman fame and tipped by Ridley Scott). This incredible visual explores the militarization of the human mind in stunning form and is a must watch. The track has been gaining notable exposure at radio with spins on 6 Music and support coming from Pete Tong at Radio 1 on both the original and Black Coffee remix while Agoria will also feature on this weekend's Radio 1 Essential Mix. Further tastemaker features have come from the likes of Mixmag, Resident Advisor, Tsugi magazine, and Spotify (NMF FR, Sad Songs). This year, Agoria debuted his new live show at a number of music festivals across Europe, including Sonar, Forbidden Fruit, All Points East, and Bestival and later this month (30 November) will support Joris Voorn at E1 in London. With over 11m combined Spotify streams, Agoria is an artist that creates engaging and immersive soundscapes and with Embrace, he has produced a song to get lost in. Simply mesmerising.
