Can We Talk
Adore
WE SAY
We can’t get enough of punk rock Irish trio Adore. Back in September, they dropped the brilliant single ‘Supermum!’, which managed to effortlessly combine the raucous punk energy of the Sex Pistols with the charming indie aesthetics of Elastica. The track quickly saw them continue to show their early promise from their debut ‘Postcards’ in 2023 and fill up on tastemaker praise from across the online indie spectrum (including us). Released this Wednesday, ‘Can We Talk’ is a blistering blast of melodic garage-punk about manipulative relationships. Early support has come from So Young Magazine, The Line Of Best Fit, and Golden Plec to add to previous support from DIY, Clash, Dork, Rough Trade, 6 Music (Steve Lamacq) and Radio X (John Kennedy). The track is primed for editorial additions to alternative playlists and spins at Radio 1, 6 Music and Radio X. Later this month, the band will head out on tour with Sprints across the UK.
