Delivered (Alt version)

Admiral Fallow

published by Nettwerk

WE SAY

Admiral Fallow's debut album Boots Met My Face was self-released in Scotland by the band and their management earlier this year to great local reviews, and a publishing contract with Nettwerk soon followed. Produced by Paul Savage (Franz Ferdinand), the album's highlights include the immediate joy of stirring numbers like Squealing Pigs and Subbuteo, both surely future singles, to the epic and fragile tracks like Delivered (this long version is available on their Bandcamp). Their wonderful harmonies and tight musicianship has been recognised by BBC Radio, R1 playlisted them on their In New Music We Trust playlist, and the band were hosted on the BBC Introducing stage at T In The Park earlier this year. They've just finished a nationwide tour with Frightened Rabbit and headline their own tour in February/March before heading for SXSW. Their album is to get a full release in the UK in Spring 2011 - a strong team has already been assembled for it (it includes Blair McDonald at Nettwerk, Ross Morrison at Primary, Rob Lynch at Airplayer and Mark James at Devil PR), and we think it's a wise label that gets on board with them.
London gig: March 9 2011, The Lexington N1
