This drama enthused song glows with hints of the charming boy girl melodies of Belle & Sebastian, whilst retaining a distinctly Icelandic feel and arrangement. There's certainly plenty of players in Útidúr (pronounced ooh! - detour), with the twelve-piece heading over to London this week to play a brace of shows, including Nordic club night Ja Ja Ja before embarking on a 20-date tour of Canada supporting Brasstronaut and returning for their own debut UK tour in September. The heart-warming Fishermans' Friend is taken from Útidúr debut album - This Mess We've Made - which was recorded at the Sigur Ros' recording studio Sundlaugin. Live video.
