SECOND WAVE OF WINNERS ANNOUNCED BY NORDOFF AND ROBBINS MUSIC THERAPY CHARITY

• Winners join previously announced 2025 honourees David Gilmour, Rick Astley, Soul II Soul and IDLES
• Ceremony to be held on the evening of Wednesday 2 July 2025 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, London, from 6pm
• Funds raised will support Nordoff and Robbins’ delivery of vital music therapy services across the UK

Nordoff and Robbins, the UK’s largest music therapy charity, has revealed the second wave of winners for the 2025 O2 Silver Clef Awards, celebrating their outstanding contributions to music.

The 2025 honourees just announced include Noah Kahan receiving the Best Male Award for his heartfelt songwriting and global success, Chase & Status winning Best Group in recognition of their pioneering influence on electronic music, Tony Christie who will be honoured with the Icon Award for his acclaimed five-decade career in music and The Corrs being celebrated with the Legend Award for their enduring impact on pop and folk-rock. They will join previously announced winners David Gilmour, Rick Astley, Soul II Soul and IDLES for a special evening dedicated to the power of music.

The O2 Silver Clef Awards, supported by long-standing headline partner O2, return on Wednesday 2 July from 6pm, moving from its traditional Friday lunchtime slot to an evening event for the first time ever, at JW Marriott Grosvenor House, London, hosted by Edith Bowman. Celebrating this year’s winners while raising essential funds for Nordoff and Robbins’ transformational music therapy services, the event will feature a blue carpet arrival, exclusive awards ceremony and a live auction with rare music memorabilia and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Since 1976, the O2 Silver Clef Awards has been at the heart of fundraising for Nordoff and Robbins. Across its 49-year history, the charity’s flagship event has celebrated the biggest names in music, while providing invaluable income to help Nordoff and Robbins reach the thousands of people it provides music therapy to each year. Legendary winners across the years include Stormzy, Annie Lennox, David Bowie, Ed Sheeran, Kylie Minogue, Roger Waters, Paul McCartney, George Michael, Dame Shirley Bassey, The Rolling Stones, Oasis and Coldplay. 

Starting today and running until the ceremony on 2 July, Ticketmaster, sponsor of the Best New Music Award, is bringing back its annual O2 Silver Clef charity upsell. When fans buy tickets across Ticketmaster’s extensive platform, they'll have the chance to donate directly to Nordoff and Robbins, helping bring the power of music therapy to more people nationwide. The Best New Music Award sponsored by Ticketmaster winner will be announced alongside even more winners ahead of the big day.

This year’s O2 Silver Clef Award winners have made a lasting impact on music and as they prepare to be honoured, they reflect on what this award and the transformative power of music therapy mean to them:

Noah Kahan – Best Male, sponsored by AEG Presents – Multi-platinum global superstar Noah Kahan will receive the O2 Silver Clef's Best Male award, presented by AEG Presents, in recognition of his heartfelt songwriting, global success, and important work in the mental health space with his charity, The Busyhead Project. The 2x GRAMMY and BRIT-nominated Vermont singer-songwriter has risen from his New England roots to worldwide acclaim, captivating audiences with his raw, introspective lyrics that have amassed over seven billion streams to date. His 4x Platinum hit Stick Season and its Double Platinum-certified album propelled him to global recognition, alongside collaborations with Post Malone, Hozier, Kacey Musgraves, Brandi Carlile, and Sam Fender. The song also earned him a BRIT Award nomination and was officially named the UK’s biggest song of 2024. Known for their high-energy productions and genre-spanning sound, the duo has shaped electronic music, earning a recent Brit Award and Brit Billion Award alongside widespread acclaim and a loyal global following.

Tony Christie - Icon, sponsored by American Express - Tony Christie will receive the Icon Award, sponsored by American Express, in recognition of his illustrious career spanning over five decades. Christie has sold over ten million records, becoming a household name with timeless hits like Is This the Way to Amarillo? and Avenues and Alleyways. His distinctive voice and classic easy-listening sound made him a staple of British music, from his early days with Tony Christie & the Trackers to chart-topping success and TV appearances.

The Corrs – Legend, sponsored by OVO - The Corrs will receive the Legend Award, sponsored by OVO, in recognition of their lasting influence on music. Blending traditional Celtic sounds with a pop-rock edge, the family band has sold over 40 million albums, with Talk On Corners becoming one of the UK’s best-selling albums of the 1990s. Their career includes multiple Platinum records, BRIT Awards, and Grammy and Ivor Novello nominations.
