Mumford & Sons Dazzle Fans with Exclusive Performance at Amazon Music UK City Sessions in Manchester 03 Apr 2025
The Intimate Show Took Place at Aviva Studios, the Landmark New Home of Factory International in Manchester
Last night, British folk-rock group Mumford & Sons dazzled fans with an exclusive performance at the Amazon Music UK City Sessions in Manchester. The intimate show was held at Aviva Studios, home of Factory International, Manchester’s iconic new venue for arts, music, and culture and was streamed live on Prime Video and the Amazon Music UK channel on Twitch.
Fresh off the release of their fifth studio album ‘RUSHMERE’ last Friday, the trio performed a number of hits off the new album including singles ‘Rushmere’ and ‘Malibu’. The joyous crowd was also treated to classics such as ‘The Cave’, ‘Awake My Soul’, ‘The Wolf’ and ‘I Will Wait’, as well as a truly mesmerising unplugged performance of ‘Timshel’ - all reinforcing their status still as one of the UK’s most exciting and beloved acts.
Featuring some of the biggest names performing on intimate stages in unique venues, the City Sessions series spans musical genres offering fans a unique opportunity to tune in to a once-in-a-lifetime show from some of their favourite artists. Viewers around the world can tune in to the shows on the Amazon Music UK channel on Twitch. The highly successful intimate performance and livestream series has captivated audiences across the US and Latin America with previous performances including global superstars Kings of Leon, Franz Ferdinand, Nelly Furtado, The Black Crowes, Glass Animals, and Wallows.
This performance marks the fourth and final Amazon City Sessions of 2024 and 2025, presented by Aviva, the UK’s leading insurance, wealth and retirement business. Taking place at Aviva Studios, home of Factory International, City Sessions was brought to a city steeped in music heritage. Music fans can re-watch Mumford & Sons’ City Sessions on the Amazon Music UK channel on Prime Video in the coming weeks.
