BMG is pleased to announce the acquisition of B612’s publishing catalog, further enhancing its roster with works of the German rock-pop band Reamonn and electropop duo Glasperlenspiel. 

The B612 catalog includes Reamonn tracks ‘Tonight’ and ‘Supergirl,’ the breakout hit that catapulted the band to international fame in 2000. ’Supergirl’ achieved Top 10 chart positions in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, with total sales exceeding 1.1 million copies, driven primarily by streaming and downloads. The ‘Supergirl – Radio Edit’ has generated over 135 million streams on Spotify alone. 

The catalog also includes major hits from German electropop duo Glasperlenspiel, including Gold-certified singles ‘Echt’ and ‘Nie vergessen’ as well as the Diamond-certified track ‘Geiles Leben.’ As one of the best-selling singles in German music history, ‘Geiles Leben’ has accumulated nearly 200 million streams worldwide and 600,000 downloads in the GSA region.
