SIGN UP FOR AVA LONDON 2025

An essential event for the ever-evolving creative industries and those within, AVA London is a three-day exploration of the intersection of music, culture, visual arts and community. A gathering of curious minds - AVA’s eighth edition will unite artists, creators and leaders from across the globe to ask questions, reflect, predict and share in the possibility of creativity. AVA’s conference programme takes place at revered institutions The British Library, and The Standard in Kings Cross, packed with keynote lectures, masterclasses, talks, industry connections and more, whilst by night they will present raves and cutting-edge live shows feature some AVA favourites including Erika de Casier, Kojaque, Ryoji Ikeda Live, Marcel Dettmann, LSDXOXO and more.Tickets vary from single-day tickets to full weekends.

Looking ahead to March, AVA has just announces another set of names, talks, workshops and panels set to join between 20th - 22nd March 2025, including Geeneus and Rinse FM, Major League DJz, TikTok, ReQueering Dancefloors: discussion featuring I.JORDAN, Jaguar, Tom Rassmussen, and Tom Mehrtens head of music & entertainment for Sattelite414 will join proceedings at place at the British Library for two days. 

A welcome new addition to AVA London is Rinse FM. The institution, radio station and platform is one of the most iconic names in UK music culture, and fresh from celebrating 30 years on the airwaves in 2024, station founder Geeneus will join the conference to discuss the past, present, and future of Rinse FM, a pioneering force in UK underground music. With over 30 years of innovation, Rinse has evolved from a pirate radio station into a multidisciplinary institution shaping music, culture, and community. 

Another key player in the music and media landscape - TikTok has revolutionised the way modern artists, fans and industry interact. Responsible for driving phenomena and nurturing artist/fan relations, TikTok has become a vital platform. They will host a keynote interview with South African music powerhouse, Major League DJz for a Fireside Chat - talking about balancing high-level commercial success with keeping credibile and their role in pushing Amapiano, hip-hop, kwaito, afrobeatz and wider sub-saharan sounds.

A vital topic for discussion is the space for queerness in electronic music, and AVA will explore this topic with a list of queer leaders, campaigners and artists for their ‘Re-queering dancefloors’ talk. Munroe Bergdorf, I. Jordan, Tom Rassmussen and Tom Mehrtens will all be part of this important discussion.

 

AVA CREATORS FORUM 
After a hugely successful cohort last year, 2025 sees the return of the Creators Forum - an ‘artist camp’ style development programme in partnership with pointblank Music School. Successful applicants will participate in a 7-day residency from AVA London’s opening on 20th March and will gain access to 7 days of learning and development resources, including featuring top-tier recording studios, mentoring and guidance from industry professionals and guest producers. AVA’s Creators is designed to inspire, creatively develop and professionally educate & connect emerging artists.

AVA LONDON: CONFERENCE + DAY TIME PROGRAMME 
Already announced - 
FKA Twigs will record an edition of the Resident Advisor Exchange podcast at AVA, offering an extremely rare look into her career, creative process, and inspirations. Pulp’s Jarvis Cocker, who will deliver a climate-themed lecture titled Biophobia, with EarthPercent. Annie Mac and Jayda G will sit down for a chat about music, motherhood, and the challenges they face.

For masterclasses, master British mixing engineer Tom Elmhirst will break down his process, showcasing his work with artists like Adele, David Bowie, and Frank Ocean. Italian producer Lorenzo Senni leads a production-focused masterclass, diving into his approach to '90s trance, techno, and hardcore punk influences. The Parisian visual artist duo NONOTAK will guide guests through their immersive installations, while platform Trippin will host a panel on curating culture.

Other industry leaders include No Tags Podcast, with founders Chal Ravens and Tom Lea presenting a live session on underground music and pop culture. Partners like TikTok, Easol, Pointblank Music School, Spitfire LABS+, and PRS for Music will present sessions on topics ranging from festival futures to music publishing, while the Association for Electronic Music (AFEM) returns with talks on international nightlife and mental health in music.

AVA’s Day & Night - Access Everything passes offer access to the extended AVA Pro programme - an elevated and explorative networking experience for professionals and curious minds involved with the industry. Topics from social impact to sustainability, LGBTQIA culture to the current state of creativity – AVA will host important, informed and educated conversations that will explore the realities, successes, challenges, and potential futures. 

AVA+ – Exhibition hub area, where AVA hosts music partners and players from music, tech, record labels, b2b e-commerce platforms and more directly to AVA’s audience. AVA LONDON: NIGHT TIME PROGRAMME 

AVA London will host a dynamic night series showcasing some of the most exciting acts in electronic music, focussing on live performances, DJs, and AV explorations. Thursday kicks-off at Earth Hackney with Danish singer-producer Erika de Casier, known for her intimate yet powerful live shows. Irish rapper Kojaque will bring his hi-grade energy, alongside Mechatok who will also debut an new live show. Friday 21.03 moves to Outernet, featuring minimalist sound designer Ryoji Ikeda, who will push the boundaries of sound and perception. Techno legend Marcel Dettmann will debut his My Own Shadow Live, bringing his signature dark beats. The night also includes rising talent EMA. Saturday 22.03 at Outernet’s HERE features a boundary-pushing lineup, with hyper-pop and experimental sounds from LSDXOXO and 90s techno-influenced duo X CLUB. Juicy Romance and Marion Hawkes complete the bill.
