Wise Music Group signs publishing deal with band Hope

Wise Music Group is happy to announce that the band HOPE has signed an exclusive publishing agreement with Berlin-based Bosworth Music GmbH.
The female fronted, Berlin-based band founded in 2009 consists of four members, Christine Börsch-Supan, Phillip Staffa, Martin Knorz und Fabian Hönes.
On the signing, HOPE comments: “We are very much looking forward to working with Bosworth and the people at Wise Music Group. We have encountered individuality, quality, and a love for detail, which connects us with our aim as a band to be constantly in pursuit of the new and unknown. From here on, we walk this path together, and welcome our future collaboration.”
Michael Ohst, Managing Director of Bosworth GmbH says: “Bosworth Music is delighted to announce our partnership with HOPE, a talented band with promise. We are happy that they have chosen us as their publishing partner, trusting us to nurture their artistic journey.”
In summer 2023, the band joined Depeche Mode for some European concerts on their Memento Mori Tour as the opening act. Currently preparing for their commissioned work for Pop-Kultur Berlin, they have teamed up with British underwater filmmaker and video artist Emma Critchley to create an immersive audiovisual world.
The band first gained recognition for the “new, angry Zeitgeist” (Louder Than War) of their debut album, HOPE, with which they played Eurosonic Noorderslaag, Reeperbahn Festival, Liverpool Soundcity and SXSW, toured through Europe, and supported Bauhaus, Idles and Algiers.
In October 2023, the band released their second album “Navel”. The band has matured, calmed, and yet grown to be even more intense. With this album the four musicians have created a zen garden, radical in its minimalism, clarity, vulnerability. It's an album that transcends time, once again highlighting Hope's potential to produce timeless classics. The press agree:

“…a masterclass in minimalist restraint, understanding exactly what each song needs.”
– Under The Radar

“An impressive hymn to reduction. An album worth celebrating.”
– Rolling Stone
Hope’s music has been featured in motion pictures and TV series, including “Shame” as the title track for Ferdinand von Schirach’s series “GLAUBEN” and in Christian Schwochow’s film “Je suis Karl” as well as in the Netflix series “CTRL-Z” and in the Snowboard film “Cake”.
