A&R Executive has Built a Star-Studded Roster, Including GRAMMY Award Winners Laufey, The Chainsmokers, and Amy Allen

 

Warner Chappell Music (WCM) has promoted leading music executive Gabz Landman to Senior Vice President, A&R. Based in Los Angeles and reporting to Ryan Press, President of North America at WCM, Landman will continue to sign and develop top talent as well as lead high-profile sessions. Landman has spent more than a decade helping build the careers of songwriters, producers, and artists from the ground up. In the past few years alone, she has curated a diverse roster, including Laufey, The Chainsmokers, John Ryan, Kenya Grace, and Amy Allen—who recently won Songwriter of the Year at the 2025 GRAMMYs.

Landman shared: "I have so much gratitude for Warner Chappell. Landman, who joined WCM in 2022, currently oversees a roster of top-tier talent, including Amy Allen, Ian Kirkpatrick, Cleo Tighe, Elie Rizk, Nolan Lambroza, Carrie K, and Justin Tranter. She has worked with Allen for more than eight years and was key in developing her from the very beginning—as she went from never having written a song for another artist to becoming the first woman to win the GRAMMY Award for Songwriter of the Year. Last year, Allen was also named Variety's 2024 Songwriter of the Year and held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Songwriters chart for seven weeks. 

Landman also helped sign John Ryan, who co-wrote and produced eight songs on Sabrina Carpenter's 2x GRAMMY-nominated album Short n' Sweet, as well as breakout artist Kenya Grace, who ruled Billboard's 2024 Year-End Hot Dance/Electronic Songwriters chart. In addition, she brought on jazz singer/songwriter Laufey, who won her first GRAMMY for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album in 2024 and was named Variety Hitmakers' 2024 Crossover Artist of the Year. In 2023, Landman was named to Variety's New Leaders list as a powerhouse creative executive shaping the entertainment landscape. Prior to joining WCM, Landman served as VP of A&R at Warner Records and Creative Director at TAP Management, where she helped develop Dua Lipa, earning her a spot on Forbes' 30 Under 30 Music list in 2020.
