Tristan Wilson announces new agency, Nothing Standard. A home for artist, song and picture

Nothing Standard is a creative music agency and partner to the arts. A home for artist, song and picture, the company represents market leading independent rights owners as their in-house creative services, sync and licensing team.

Nothing Standard’s client roster already includes some of the most diverse and inspiring names in the music industry, such as Alexi Cory-Smith’s acquisitive Bella Figura Music, through which they exclusively represent the catalogues of Guy Chambers, David Gray and more, to partnering with renowned Seattle-based record label Sub Pop, as the exclusive creative partner to their publishing business.

Other clients include leading music services and distribution company, Kartel Music Group, Method Records and Method Publishing; home to slowthai, Matt Maltese, Disclosure and Bruno Major, plus Webber-founded The Other Songs and Paris-based label and publisher, Unity Group.

Outside of their core business, Nothing Standard is a sync-driven label and publisher, operating outside of North America from their London offices, and expanding into Europe and the United States in 2023.

Founded and spearheaded by Tristan Wilson, who previously held creative leadership roles at Downtown and Warner Music after a spell in music supervision at BBH London, Nothing Standard’s already impressive client roster is testament to the fact that the company is not only a one-to-watch, but is creating a sought-after service for music companies.
