Traxsource appoints new A&Rs and Marketing Manager to expanding international music team



Traxsource is the leading global download platform and digital dance music retailer. currently working with many of the world’s leading international dance labels including Defected Records, Freerange, Dirtybird, Large Music and Simma Black. 

Since 2004 it has specialised in electronic dance music and is widely regarded as a music store with the attitude of independent record label, run by DJs for DJs with a dedicated A & R for every sub-genre of dance music it showcases, carefully sifting through the music to highlight the very best dance tracks weekly, covering Techno to Afro House and everything in between. 

The A&R team is already strong and headed up by Sheldon Prince (Head of A&R) supported by Dan Klokow (Nu Disco, House, Lounge), Mark Walker (Classic House), John Julius Knight (Soul, Funk, Disco), Matt Pruitt (Jackin') and Chris Mackey (Tech House, Techno). They are now adding 3 more appointments to their expanding international team.

Steve Mill has been appointed as Traxsource Deep House A&R Manager. Previously he was the A&R Manager at Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse Records UK and was the former Account Manager at Believe Digital distribution. Working with many labels including Tsuba, Seven Music, ATFC Music, Glasgow Underground, Deep Down Slam, Ground Level Breaks, Skint, Southern Fried, Moda Black and MofoHifi.

Ysanne Reid is appointed as Traxsource’s Marketing Manager and will be located in the UK. Previous positions have included Marketing and A&R for Kerri Chandler's Madtech records and A&R for Skint Records. Here she worked on projects including Josh Butler, Kalyde, Noir, Hugh Hardie, Autograph and was involved with the licensing and sync for the Swedish House Mafia through Virgin.

Finally Mimmo Falcone is appointed Traxsource Afro House A&R Manager and will be based in Italy. He is currently a dj/producer, A&R label manager with 10 years of experience of living in Africa (Ghana). He is also the founder of MoBlack Records and has showcased and promoted local African House Music artists.

 Now with a social media reach of almost 500,000 people and climbing, as well as their newly branded Radio Show ‘Traxsource LIVE!’ achieving a worldwide syndication of over 4 million listeners every week. Traxsource has a strategy to continue to grow its presence in Europe in 2017
