Tracklib launches a desktop app where you can find killer loops & pitch directly

Looping is the cornerstone of sampling. Tracklib's new Mac/PC app brings creative looping of 100,000 original songs directly into the DAW without the hassle!

Tracklib, the leading music sampling service, is excited to announce the launch of its highly requested desktop app for Mac and PC.

Traditionally, the process of sampling music was both time-consuming and labor-intensive. Producers begin by discovering and purchasing an album in a record store, then playing it on a vinyl turntable. They would subsequently sample it into hardware like the AKAI MPC, manually syncing the BPM and tweaking loop points for their production.

Today, those challenges are a thing of the past. With Tracklib’s new, native Desktop app, the platform’s expansive and ever-growing library of over 100,000 songs can be instantly previewed, looped, and pitched. When you find something inspiring, drag and drop it into your DAW easily - no fuss or manual adjustments are required. Every bit of metadata, beat marker, tempo alignment, and administrative detail is handled automatically, allowing you to focus solely on creativity.

Key features of the Tracklib desktop app:

Set loops quickly: Just put your cursor anywhere in the waveform, and it loops. Tempo and start points are automatically synced for you.

Explore the library: No need to first download and then load into your DAW. You can now preview loops directly in the Tracklib app

Pitch & extend: Loops can be pitched up/down and extended from single-bar loops into 8 bars.

Save individual loops: Make songs your own by adding the loops only you can find.

Improved workflow: Focus on your creativity rather than file management.

"Removing boring barriers in music creation is our life mission," says Andreas Ahlenius, CEO of Tracklib. "The new desktop app is a game-changer. It enhances how producers interact with our great library and significantly improves their workflow.

“Tracklib’s Chairman Andreas Liffgarden adds: “The desktop app marks a major milestone in how producers interact with Tracklib’s platform. We’re just getting started — many more exciting developments are planned for the coming year."
