The Other Songs and Universal Music Publishing Group announce new publishing collaboration



Today, the independent entertainment company, The Other Songs and Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), a leading, global music publisher, announced their new publishing collaboration.  

The announcement comes alongside the signing of the acclaimed British singer/songwriter Bruno Major to The Other Songs, marking a milestone as the first marquee signing via the new arrangement with UMPG.

The soulful artist known for his emotive lyricism and vocals, released his debut album “A Song For Every Moon’ in 2017 and since then has surpassed 1.8 Billion collective streams, garnering a fan base that spans the globe. Bruno’s follow up album “To Let A Good Thing Die” carefully blends elements from Bruno’s Jazz, R&B and Folk influences and further cemented his credibility as an expert storyteller, connecting with millions of listeners. Bruno has secured positions on multiple international charts with his Platinum-selling track ‘Easily’ and Gold-certified single ‘Nothing’. He has completed sold out tour dates across North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. On his latest tour for the third album ‘Columbo’, Bruno has sold over 70,000 tickets in 46 cities & 18 countries in just 7 months.

With the collaboration in effect, The Other Songs are pleased to welcome Jacque O’Leary to the team as General Manager. Expanding its horizons, The Other Songs ventured into animation via “Good Morning Kevin”, an original animated series made for social media in collaboration with ex-Pixar animation director, Andrew Gordon. Alastair and Billy also founded Another Rhythm, a subsidiary of The Other Songs, which operates as an independent record label dedicated to emerging talent in the electronic music sphere.
