The Italian music industry contributed €4.3 billion to the Italian economy during 2023

According to numbers released by FIMI the overall economic value of music in Italy in 2023 (according to the IFPI, Deloitte, SIAE, DISMA, GFK data) reached a total amount of € 4.323 billion, the segment of direct contributions is equal to € 3.076 billion, demonstrating a great prestigious value for the Italian music chain. Live concerts, recording industry and copyright revenues drove the sector in 2023

"The Italian musical ecosystem is a very relevant element in the field of the cultural industry" says Enzo Mazza, CEO of FIMI. "In this context, the value of musical recording as a key element in the industry must also be considered, around which increasingly relevant economies are generated thanks to the technological innovation".
