The Hives sign to Play It Again Sam

New Album Scheduled for August

 

Legendary Swedish band The Hives have announced their signing to Play It Again Sam, the flagship label of [PIAS], for the release of their forthcoming album ‘The Hives Forever Forever The Hives,’ which is scheduled to come out on 29th August 2025.  

The album is a Q3 priority for [PIAS], whose dedicated global network of 21 offices worldwide will be activated to focus on this important new era for the band. 
 
[PIAS] will be tasked with helping to break new ground for the band internationally and with further growing their existing, die-hard fanbase.
 
The news of The Hives seventh album follows the announcement of their forthcoming world tour, which includes dates across Australia, the US, Japan, the UK and more, ending with a hometown show in Stockholm at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm.

‘The Hives Forever Forever The Hives,’ follows the success of band’s 2023 comeback album ‘The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons’ which reached #2 in the UK charts and which marked their first studio release in over 11 years. Tours with Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys & Green Day and a landmark Glastonbury 2024 performance supported the release.
