The Box Plus Network’s Pop Powerlist, the definitive guide to the most influential popstars over the past year will return to viewers’ screens on Thursday 3^rd March for a landmark fifth year.  

The list takes every aspect of a popstar’s life into account including recording revenues, social media reach, fan base, personal wealth, brand clout, chart placings, award wins and press coverage to meticulously plot the power and influence of some of the world’s biggest musical stars.  A specially-developed algorithm delivers the ultimate singular ranking of music’s best-known names.

Taylor Swift took the crown in 2015 and previous winners include Beyoncé (2014), Rihanna (2013) and Adele in 2012.  To find out who takes the top spot in 2016’s Pop Powerlist, tune in to the new series beginning on Thursday 3^rd March on 4Music and the final results show on Friday 25^th March.
