Stacey Tang and Manish Arora named co-Managing Directors of Columbia Records UK

They take up their new roles with immediate effect and will both report directly to Ferdy Unger-Hamilton, President of Columbia Records UK.
Stacey joined Columbia Records in 2012 and was promoted to General Manager in 2015. She has played a pivotal role in the ongoing success of the legendary label in recent years and has shown unwavering dedication, continuously delivering on global campaigns for artists including Calvin Harris, Arcade Fire, Foo Fighters and Harry Styles. In addition, Stacey has been instrumental in the phenomenal rise of Rag’n’Bone Man, the most successful UK breakthrough act of recent years.

I work with an incredibly talented and diverse team at Columbia; they’re undoubtedly the best in the business and I’m thrilled to be building the label’s future successes with them.”
Manish Arora joins from Polydor, where he was Director of Promotion for five years and delivered campaigns for artists including Elbow, Ellie Goulding, Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey, Lady Gaga and Years & Years.
Manish began his career in 2000 at Anglo Plugging where he set up the UK industry’s first online PR department. He then moved to Virgin Records as national radio plugger and contributed to the early careers of artists including Daft Punk, Kelis, The Kooks and N.E.R.D. After being promoted to VP of Press and Promotions, he oversaw campaigns for artists including David Guetta, Emeli Sande, Katy Perry, Massive Attack and The Rolling Stones.
Manish said: "I am very excited to be joining the newly invigorated Sony Music UK. Columbia’s reputation for being one of the most committed and artist friendly labels is borne out in it's amazing roster and I had always dreamt of joining the team there. The opportunity to reconnect with Ferdy, who cares more than most and has nurtured so many artists and executive careers over the years, and to work with the young team he already has assembled, was a big draw. Columbia are having a fantastic year under him and I look forward to building on that with the whole team.”
Unger-Hamilton became President of Columbia Records UK in October 2016. In 2017, Columbia Records UK has achieved six UK No.1 UK albums, including Rag’n’Bone Man, whose album has achieved double-platinum status as well as securing two BRIT Awards, and Harry Styles who launched his solo career to widespread critical acclaim. In addition, the label has secured No.1 albums with Arcade Fire, Foo Fighters, Kasabian and The Script.
